Over the past thirty years, I've frequented greeting card aisles in search of the perfect card for delicate relationships and topics ranging from life-threatening emergencies, trauma, or terminal illness to emotionally uncomfortable circumstances. I sought cards conveying kindness, understanding, validation, or timely humor. Yet, I left with a blank card or empty-handed, unable to offer prompt hope and care. This frustration, coupled with my passion for people, ministry, and advocacy, inspired the birth of You Are Seen Greetings.

Communication is always in style. Since I tend to live life out loud, I'm sharing wisdom from my varied experiences, ranging from foolish and terrifying to near death, dysfunctional, abusive, or regretful, and occasionally wild, clever, or humorous. I inadvertently became the adventurous field trip student (while you remain in the safe confines of the classroom). Our pain stories remind us of what we have and what we value. Through my writing, I offer cards that allow you to nurture souls without the hassle of the learning curve or unnecessary drama.
